(I was going out the door the other day, and Youngest Daughter, age 6, said, "Au revoir" to me. She didn't pronounce it right, but that's what it was. Extremely funny. I think she learned it from Snoopy in her Peanuts books.)
I can't help speculating as to whether it had something to do with the discussion of the Tea Party and the American founders, but that seems most unlikely. It's not as though Zippy and I or Zippy and others have never disagreed before.
With any luck, he'll miss us all and come back down the line.
