(Things Catholic...and otherwise)
He didn't even leave comments open so we could say "goodbye" back.Au revoir, Zippy. We will welcome your return.(I was going out the door the other day, and Youngest Daughter, age 6, said, "Au revoir" to me. She didn't pronounce it right, but that's what it was. Extremely funny. I think she learned it from Snoopy in her Peanuts books.)
And your post at W4 is most welcome, Bill. Thanks!
"He didn't even leave comments open.."Sort of like slamming the door on the way out. Well, if he don't want to talk about it, he don't have to. We'll meet again in purgatory. Thanks in return.
I can't help speculating as to whether it had something to do with the discussion of the Tea Party and the American founders, but that seems most unlikely. It's not as though Zippy and I or Zippy and others have never disagreed before. With any luck, he'll miss us all and come back down the line.
He's added a few words to his goodbye.
