It is strange that some theologians have difficulty accepting the precise and limited doctrine of papal infallibility, but see no problem in granting de facto infallibility to everyone who has a conscience.

EVERYONE has a pope and considers him (or, egads! her) infallible, whether they want to admit it or not. and, more often than not, it is themselves.
My real goal with that thread was to break 300 comments. Mission accomplished.
Good job, although I consider being subjected to 100 by Prejean a form of torture.
