Still resting, but for TSO, a drawing of Bernadette circa 1988. The paper is yellowed by time, and the image is fading. She was seven.

I like this even better than the landscapes. Has that "Thank heavens for little girls" quality. A primeval innocence. She is the same age as those tragic Amish victims. Of course when I commented that you should paint your girls, I was expecting portraits of them all grown up.

Also, I wasn't completely honest. The paper is yellowed from a combination of sunlight and cigarette smoke.

I wish Erik Keilholtz would get some of his stuff online so I could at something by somebody who knows what he's doing.
